What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They serve various purposes, from remembering your login session to understanding how visitors use the platform.
How we manage your consent
We use Cookiebot (provided by Usercentrics A/S, Denmark) to manage your cookie preferences. When you first visit Seedli, you will see a consent banner that lets you choose which categories of cookies to accept. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie icon or visiting our cookie declaration page.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent and cannot be disabled, as they are essential for the platform to function. All other cookies are only activated after you give consent.

The authentication cookie is httpOnly, secure, and sameSite: lax, meaning it cannot be accessed by JavaScript on the page and is only sent over HTTPS connections.
Analytics cookies (require consent)
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the platform so we can improve the experience. They are only activated if you consent via the Cookiebot banner.

IP masking: Google Analytics 4 is configured with IP anonymization enabled. Your full IP address is not stored by Google. IP addresses are truncated before any analytics data is written to storage.
Google Tag Manager: We use Google Tag Manager to manage the loading of analytics scripts. Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies or collect personal data independently. It acts as a container that activates Google Analytics only after you have provided consent through Cookiebot.
What we measure: Pages visited, session duration, device type, screen resolution, general geographic region (country/city level, derived from masked IP), and interaction patterns. We use this data to understand which features are used, identify usability issues, and improve the platform.
What we do not do: We do not use analytics data for advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking. We do not enable Google Signals, User-ID, or any Google advertising features in our GA4 configuration.
Marketing cookies
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies.

Your choices
Consent banner: When you first visit Seedli, the Cookiebot consent banner allows you to accept or decline optional cookies. Strictly necessary cookies remain active regardless of your choice.
Changing preferences: You can update your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the Cookiebot icon displayed in the bottom left corner of the page.
Browser settings: You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging into the platform.
Opting out of Google Analytics: In addition to declining analytics cookies via Cookiebot, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Local storage
We use browser local storage for session persistence. This is functionally similar to a cookie but stored differently by the browser. It contains only authentication state and is cleared when you log out.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our cookie usage changes. Material changes will be communicated via the platform and the Cookiebot consent banner will be re-displayed if new cookie categories are added.
